For those of you who don't know the wonderful keeling curve: the keeling curve plots the change in concentration of CO2 in the earths atmosphere since 1958. It was named after the man who started taking measurements, Charles David Keeling. These measurements are taken in the middle of the Pacific Ocean on a volcano in Hawaii (the Mauna Loa Observatory). These measurements showed the first significant evidence of rapidly increasing carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere and has been credited with first bringing the world's attention to the current increase of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

All hail the keeling curve!
