As we know Obama recently proposed a plan to cut carbon emissions and he has been open about his belief in the effects of climate change.
These are all incredible steps if they are to be successfully followed through on. This new article states that there is an unveiling of climate change initiatives..however it seems more like we're just working on cover ups instead of looking for solutions to longterm problems. We need to look at root causes and change our actions, not just prepare preventative measures. As climate change progresses new "quick fixes" will be needed..people actually need to realize their impact, thats the first step. Looking at root causes is what will help us in the long run.
Let's all keep in mind though that Obama is doing more than the Canadian government right now though so, you go Obama, you go!
